The ZOTAC met six times and agreed on recommendations to forward to the board of supervisors. From here, county staff is asking for direction from the board in order to prepare draft ordinance amendments for the planning commission. The ZOTAC’s recommendations can be found here.

The supervisors will hold a work session and several public hearings, including on the issues of putting speed cameras in school zones, as have been approved in Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County; the Attain at Stafford development, which is envisioned as part of a “downtown” Stafford; and on proposed changes to the zoning regulations for campgrounds. It’s unclear, however, if the latter will apply to a controversial campground planned for White Oak.
