by | Oct 19, 2025 | Caroline, Non-Profits, Ted Schubel

Jason Tickle with Central Rappahannock River Habitat for Humanity, says the organization is expanding its efforts to help more people achieve affordable homeownership.

“You can’t build a house with just a hammer,” Tickle explains, noting that success also depends on having flexible financial options for families looking to buy. Habitat is working to create new pathways that combine traditional builds, renovations, and partnerships with lenders to make homes attainable for more local residents.
