From plastic containers to places in your yard.
Tree Fredericksburg gave away 3,300 native plant and shrub seedlings Saturday at Old Mill Park, helping residents take home more than just greenery—an opportunity to grow the region’s tree canopy.
Volunteers were also on hand to answer questions, offering tips on how to plant and care for the seedlings so they can thrive. Organizers say each one planted is a small step toward a healthier, greener community.
