The Fredericksburg reverse Christmas Parade drew a crowd so big, many never made it to the parade before it had to shut down. City Council praised the effort to hold the event, while also hoping it can return downtown next year.
The Fredericksburg Salvation Army’s Angel Tree started the Christmas season with a need of about 15-hundred toys for area kids. About 300 are still needed between now and the end of the week.
