Annual Downtown Trick-or-Treating
Saturday, Oct. 25, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Fredericksburg Police Officers will be in Riverfront Park, 600 Sophia St., distributing trick-or-treat bags and the list of participating downtown businesses.
Participating downtown businesses will also display a sign in their window, indicating they are distributing candy to trick-or-treaters.

Belvedere Plantation Fall Festival 2014
October 24 – 28; 31 – November 2.
1410 Belvedere Dr., Fredericksburg
Maize maze, pumpkin patch, zip lines, Pumpkin Mountain Slide, pedal carts, pony rides and more.

Wicked Woods Haunted Forest 2014
October 24, 25, 31 and November 1
6220 Massey Rd., Spotsylvania
Returning for its eighth year with all new “disturbing scenes of horror.”
$23 per person

Haunted Trail
Saturdays, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, 7 – 11 p.m.
Wilderness Presidential Resorts, 9220 Plank Rd., Spotsylvania
Recommended for ages 10 and up. $5.
For those less willing to tempt fate on the haunted trail, meet at the Rec Pavilion for a bonfire, marshmallow roast, hot chocolate & apple cider, games and a kids’ hay maze.

Ghost Walk
Saturday, Oct. 25, 5 – 10 p.m.
Haunted walking tours of Fredericksburg historic sites led by costumed guides and ghosts from the UMW Historic Preservation Club. Ghost Walk is based the book “The Ghosts of Fredericksburg and Nearby Environs” by L.B. Taylor Jr.
Tours leave every 15-minutes from James Monroe Museum, 908 Charles St., Fredericksburg.
Cost: $6 adults, $4 UMW students/staff, military, $3 kids ages 6-12, free 5 and under.

Annual Fredericksburg Witches Masquerade Ball
Saturday, Oct. 25, 7 – 11 p.m.
Riverside Conference Center, 95 Riverside Pkwy., Fredericksburg
Net Proceeds from this Venetian Masquerade Ball will be donated to the American Diabetes Association. Ball attire and masks are required.
Tickets: $75 per person (non-refundable). Tickets may be purchased at: http://fredwitchesmasquerade.com 
Please bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to a local food bank.

UMW Pumpkin Palooza
Sunday, Oct. 26, 1 – 4 p.m.
Crafts, games, snacks and trick-or-treat in groups on campus. Hosted by The Center for Honor, Leadership, and Service.
