Kickshaws Downtown Market will open this weekend at 101 William St. in Fredericksburg. The small grocery store features organic, locally sourced, all-natural and gluten-free products.
Hours for opening weekend are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday, July 19, and 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday, July 20.
“Living naturally does not necessarily have to mean living outside of your budget,” said Kickshaws owner Kathy Craddock in her blog post “A Whole Life: The Cost of Eating Naturally.”
She and business partner Brandi Fishback have been planning the store for more than a year. “We want to serve our community by providing the best in natural and organic products, and by supporting our community through outreach, education and local product sourcing,” they said.
