Tanya M. Richey has closed her gallery and studio at 817 Caroline St. in preparation for her move to Japan to be with family stationed near Tokyo.
The local artist is hosting a 6 – 9 p.m. farewell reception on Friday, Aug. 15, at Castiglia’s Italian Restaurant, 234 William St., Fredericksburg.
It will also be the last day of the silent auction of art work she has displayed at the restaurant. Bidding is open through the gala. A preview of the art is available online at Moving on Silent Auction. Bids may also be placed remotely by calling 540-841-7244 or emailing [email protected]
