“My work is a self-imposed therapy,” said Pappas of her lithography. “It gives evidence that we are all animals on the planet Earth passing through time. Although unique, there are certain elements which unite us all.”

Pappas’ art has been exhibited in Virginia, Massachusetts and Maryland galleries, and in the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond.

“Through personal introspection, I try to evoke an emotion rather than depict a defined image,” Rendich said.  “The result is an unpredictable composition made up of spontaneous forms.”

Rendich is also a member of Art First Gallery in Fredericksburg.

Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts at 813 Sophia St. is open 12 – 4 p.m. Sunday, Monday,  Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday.  It is closed on Tuesday.
