Rappahannock Area Health District (RAHD) officials conducted restaurant inspections at the following Fredericksburg locations May 5 – 14, 2014. Restaurants receive numbered critical and non-critical violations.
A critical violation in restaurant inspections is one that “poses a direct or immediate threat to the safety of the food being served,” according to RAHD. “In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” officials said.

Fu Kien Gourmet, 435 Jefferson David Hwy. – 0 critical violations
Hard Times Café, 314 Jefferson Davis Hwy. – 3 critical violations
