Rappahannock Area Health District (RAHD) officials recently inspected food preparation and storage in the following Fredericksburg restaurants.

The Virginia Deli, 1002 Sophia St. on Feb. 12 – 1 critical violation
Vivify Burger & Lounge, 314 William St. on Feb. 12 – 0 critical violations
Chick-fil-A, 1698 Carl D. Silver Pkwy. on Feb. 11 – 0 critical violations
O’Charley’s Restaurant, 1791 Carl D. Silver Pkwy. on Feb. 11 – 2 critical violations
Hardee’s of Princess Anne #2920, 1700 Princess Anne St. on Feb. 10 – 2 critical violations
Carrabba’s Italian Grill, 1951 Carl D. Silver Pkwy. on Feb. 10 – 1 critical violation

A “critical violation” is one that “poses a direct or immediate threat to the safety of the food being served.”

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” officials said on the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Complete details are available on the Rappahannock Health District website.
