Cold, Small Chance of Snow Tuesday

A fast moving clipper system will spread snow from the Ohio Valley to portions of the Northeast on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, but the chance of precipitation is only 30 percent in the Fredericksburg area, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday night will see increasing clouds, with a low around 24.

There is a chance of snow before 10 a.m. on Tuesday. It’s expected to gradually become mostly sunny, with a high near 40.

The rest of the week through Sunday will be cold, with daytime highs ranging from a low of about 26 on Thursday, to a high near 37 on Friday and Sunday.
