Required Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma. Applicant must demonstrate innovation, attention to detail, and the ability to accomplish multiple tasks. Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn the agency’s records management system and reporting process. See the preferred qualifications.
This is a part-time position not to exceed 24 hours per week. The salary is $20 to $25 dollars hourly depending on the applicant’s qualifications.

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Programming, Business Administration, MIS (Management Information Systems) or closely related field; supplemented by three (3) to five (5) years previous experience and/or training that includes computer programming, software configuration, computer application development, data analysis and design, project management; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Prior working knowledge of Sungard’s OSSI Public Safety software or Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ex. BAI) is an experiential asset. Background check and driving record check required.

Under general supervision of the Director of Fiscal Affairs, performs professional accounting work for the City. Assignments involve reviewing and analyzing financial transactions and documents; reconciling accounts and/or transactions; posting transactions and/or preparing reports on financial activities and accounts. Performing other related assignments as required. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; supplemented by 2 years of experience performing accounting work. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered. Driving record, credit, and criminal background checks required.
