Nada Romero has relocated her skin care clinic One Lovely Skin to 2217 Princess Anne St., Suite B22, in Fredericksburg. The Stafford County resident said her specialty is, “The 3 A’s: Anti-Aging, Adult Acne and Adolescent Acne.”
We asked her a few questions on the occasion of her reopening.
What inspired you to open a skin care clinic?
My dermatologist. He inspired me to take good care of my skin in my teens. Before that, I thought having acne and bad skin was something I just had to live with. My skin improved and I have a new found appreciation for it. Instead of covering bad skin with makeup, I want to help teens and adult women improve their skin and better care for it. The skin is amazing, resilient and often overlooked. It deserves a clinic of its own.
What is your training and/or certification?
I am a licensed Esthetician, and my training consists of skin analysis and consultations, skin types, skin conditions, common diseases and disorders of the skin, products and ingredients, and basic nutrition.
What differentiates your treatment center from others?
The skincare line I use and retail: Hydropeptide. My clinic is the only place in Fredericksburg that carries this amazing anti-aging line that can be found in the most prestigious spas and medical spas in 24 countries. It increases hydration, visibly reduces lines and wrinkles, brightens and tightens. Products include a line strong enough to treat acne, yet gentle enough for sensitive/reactive skin. You can find Hydropeptide at the Gaylord Hotel at National Harbor, but why travel far when it can be found here in Fredericksburg.
You say this is a new location. Where were you previously located? Why did you move?
I was previously located on Lafayette Blvd., next to the Battlefield Visitor Center. My new location at the General Washington Executive Center is easy to find, a much larger treatment room, and I’m right across the street from Carl’s and Keystone Coffee.
