Saying Goodbye to a Downtown Bookstore

by | Jun 13, 2015 | Business

It’s difficult to see a favorite downtown store close. The Griffin Bookshop and Coffee Bar, 204 William St., will close its doors for good on June 29, 2015. Owner Eileen Boyd, who’s been running the shop for eight years, is retiring and moving to Florida.

The retirement sale is in its final weeks, with books, jewelry and other items up to 50 percent off. Fixtures in the store are also for sale.
