To Fredericksburg Today From Sharon B. via Facebook on July 22, 2015
I am a fan of your page. I am hoping you will be able to help a very distraught young lady who just moved to Fredericksburg two weeks ago. She has no friends or family in the area, and decided to adopt a dog for a companion last Saturday, July 18, from the SPCA.

She immediately bonded with the dog and the next day on the 19th while bringing in groceries, he bolted from her apartment on Cowan Boulevard. There has been a page created on Facebook under “Finding Maxwell” that has pictures of the dog and her contact info.

Would it be possible to show some good ole southern small town hospitality by posting this info on your page? She has no Fredericksburg contacts other than a handful of kind strangers who have responded to her postings and shared.

Possible sightings have been on Route 3 by Staples, Ferry Farm McDonalds heading East on Route 3 and today possibly at Cobblestone Square near Lafayette Blvd. Thank you for your consideration.

From the Finding Maxwell Facebook page:
I adopted Maxwell from the Fredericksburg SPCA on Sat 7/18. He ran away Sun 7/19 at 6 p.m. off Cowan Blvd. I need all the help I can get Plz call 607-206-7391

So, let’s welcome this young woman to the area by helping. If you see Maxwell, please call 607-206-7391.
