Fredericksburg’s Lip Sync Battle

by | Aug 8, 2015 | Events

Fredericksburg Parent & Family magazine is hosting what may be Fredericksburg’s first lip sync battle.

The event will take place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, as part of the FredParent Back to School Expo at Spotsylvania Towne Centre.

“Two contestants will go head-to-head, taking turns performing about 30 seconds each of two different songs,” said Heidi DiEugenio, director of marketing and operations, Fredericksburg Parent & Family. She said the idea came from seeing Emma Stone and Jimmy Fallon compete (video).

Host Rahmein Mostafavi, owner of Cool Cow Comedy, will introduce the contestants on the Center Court Stage. They are:

1st Sergeant David Sullivan, Fredericksburg Sheriff’s Office
Susan Larson, Publisher, Fredericksburg Today
1st Sergeant D.T. Diggs, Stafford County Sheriff’s Department
Captain William R. Tydings, Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office

Winners will be chosen by audience applause. Each winner will be awarded a $50 donation to the non-profit of their choice.
