The City of Fredericksburg has posted an online survey to help shape the city’s Economic Development Master Plan.
The survey includes the questions asked in a series of recent small focus groups. There are comment boxes as well. The survey is designed to take about 15 minutes to complete.
“The survey is another step in the creation of the city’s Economic Development Master Plan by Garner Economics, which includes market and labor analysis, assets and challenges, focus group study, and business targets,” said Karen Hedelt, director of Economic Development and Tourism. The final report is expected in early 2016.
Mayor Mary Katherine Greenlaw encourages local residents to participate in the survey. “Feedback is essential as we look to ways to leverage and enhance the city’s economic development activities“, she said.
It is not necessary to be a resident of the City of Fredericksburg to take the survey. It is available online through 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2015.
