Cancelled: I-95 On-Ramp Closure at Route 3 in Fredericksburg

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has cancelled its planned December 6 and 7, 2015, closure of the Interstate 95 northbound on-ramp at Route 3 in Fredericksburg.

The ramp closure will be rescheduled to occur during overnight hours at a future date, VDOT said.

High friction surface treatment will be applied to the ramp as a spot safety enhancement to reduce vehicle skidding and crashes. “This material performs best when applied at ground temperatures of 55 degrees and rising,” VDOT said.
