Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity (Fredericksburg Habitat) is hosting a Grand Opening of their new Habitat ReStore beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015. The new 30,000-square-foot store is located at 2738 Plank Rd. in Fredericksburg, in the Gateway Shopping Center.
“The Habitat ReStore exists to help build and repair homes for local families in need,” Fredericksburg Habitat said on Facebook. “Every time a purchase is made at our ReStore, the proceeds go to help a neighbor who is struggling.”
The public can donate and purchase appliances, furniture, and other home goods at Habitat ReStore. The Grand Opening will include food, “door busters” and special merchandise.
In advance of the November 21 Grand Opening, Fredericksburg Habitat is holding a liquidation sale at its 4755 Jefferson Davis Hwy. location in Fredericksburg. “Everything in our store must go, so we will be offering amazing sales,” staff said.
Fredericksburg Habitat operates in Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania and King George.
