Old Town Yarnery Back in Downtown Fredericksburg

by | Feb 27, 2016 | Business

Old Town Yarnery reopened Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016, in downtown Fredericksburg.

The shop is at 615 Caroline St, adjacent to the Courtyard Marriott and a short block from the downtown parking garage.

Old Town Yarnery carries a wide range of yarn fibers, colors and textures. In addition, they offer knitting needles, notions and classes. Plans are to soon add cross stitch to the offerings.

In 2014, Old Town Yarnery moved from its downtown location on William Street to Elm Street in Fredericksburg, mainly because of parking issues. They’re happy to be back in the downtown shopping district, with the paid parking garage just around the corner at Princess Anne and Charles Streets, and two nearby free lots along Sophia Street. There is also street parking near the store.
