The City of Fredericksburg Department of Public Works will hold an information session about the Caroline Street water line project at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016.
The meeting — open to property and business owners from the 1000 block of Caroline (Amelia cross street) to the 200 block of Caroline (South Dixon cross street) — will be held at Capital Ale House, 917 Caroline St. Please RSVP by emailing Fredericksburg Virginia Main Street Inc. The project will begin in April 2016 and continue through August 2017. The dates in the following timeline are approximate and subject to adjustment, the city said.
2016
April 10 – May 31: Amelia Street to William Street
June 1 – July 15: William Street to George Street
July 15 – August 31: George Street to Hanover Street
September 1 – October 15: Hanover Street to Charlotte Street
October 16 – November 15: Charlotte Street to Wolfe Street
November 16 – December 31: No Activity – Holiday Break
2017
January 1 – February 15: Wolfe Street to Lafayette Boulevard
February 16 – March 31: Lafayette Boulevard to Frederick Street
April 1 – May 15: Frederick St. – Princess Elizabeth Street
May 16 – June 30: Princess Elizabeth St. – Dixon Street
July 1 – August 15: Dixon Street – South End
