Poppy Hill Tuscan Kitchen at 1000 Charles St. in downtown Fredericksburg is closing.
“After a wonderful 10 1/2 year run, Poppy HIll will close at the end of business on Saturday April 9, [2016],” the owners posted on Facebook.
Poppy Hill was named by Epicurious.com as one of the top 10 farm-to-table restaurants in the United States.
On a personal note, I will miss summer evening dining at their outdoor tables. Their food and wine were always delicious.
