I-95 Southbound Travel Delays for Emergency Repair Near Exit 133/Route 17 in Stafford

Motorists traveling on southbound Interstate 95 in the Fredericksburg area should anticipate travel delays through the late afternoon and evening on May 24, 2016, while crews perform an emergency bridge deck repair near Exit 133/Route 17 in Stafford County.

The right lane is closed on southbound I-95 at the Route 17 overpass.

Additionally, the on-ramp to I-95 southbound from Route 17 westbound is closed.

Southbound motorists may still exit to Route 17 eastbound and westbound at the I-95 interchange.

Crews are repairing a hole in the right travel lane by covering it with a secured steel plate. A permanent repair will be scheduled.
