Local tiny house designer and builder Kristopher Angstadt will make his debut on HGTV’s “Tiny House, Big Living” on June 20, 2016. “Tanner Family Tiny House” airs at 9 p.m.

“The network [HGTV] contacted me to see if we had any builds in the works, and if we had any good buyers that would be a great fit for the show,” Angstadt said. “I put Matt and Meghan Tanner in contact with them.”

“Matthew and Meghan Tanner are growing their family but downsizing their house,” HGTV said in the show’s online introduction. “You could say they’re “thinking outside the box” when it comes to cutting their budget to make room for their second child.”

Angstadt and his Tiny House Building Company, LLC, team completed the Tanner’s 220-square-foot home in about 45 days. It features a bathtub, a full-size kitchen with a full-size, side-by-side refrigerator, and a wood stove. “Another super cool feature is the catwalk that connects the two lofts,” Angstadt said.

Tiny House Building Company, LLC, is located at 2706 Lafayette Blvd. in Fredericksburg.

Angstadt will also be on “Tiny House Nation” this year. Filming is complete, but the air date has not been announced.
