Fredericksburg Football Club Plays First Round NPSL Playoffs July 16

The Fredericksburg Football Club’s (FFC) National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) team will battle it out with New Jersey Copa Football Club in the first round of the 2016 NPSL Playoffs.

The game begins at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016, at the University of Mary Washington Battleground Athletic Complex at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Turf Stadium (next to the baseball stadium).

Admission is free for anyone wearing FFC gear; $5 for others.

Food will be available for purchase from Famous Dave’s, and the team is sponsoring a beer garden with $2 selected beers.

U8 – U10 players may participate in a scrimmage from 4 – 4:30 p.m. There will be a half-time penalty kick contest for young players.

Formerly known as Fredericksburg Area Soccer Association ( FASA ), Fredericksburg Football Club is the largest club in Central Virginia.

The NPSL is sanctioned by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).
