The sale includes the businesses, inventory and properties of Rosner Toyota Scion of Fredericksburg at 3507 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Spotsylvania, and Rosner Toyota Scion of Stafford at 95 Garrisonville Rd. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Rosner will maintain ownership of Rosner Motorsports classic cars at 3509 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Spotsylvania, and Rosner Chevrolet and Indian Motorcycles, both in Melbourne, Fla.
Rosner and partner Clay Huber, his stepson, restructured their business in 2015. Rosner maintained Rosner Automotive Group, while Huber formed Huber Motor Cars, which includes the Rosner Collision Center, Mercedes-Benz of Fredericksburg, Volvo of Fredericksburg, Volkswagen of Fredericksburg and Mazda of Fredericksburg.
Rosner Auto Group sold its Stafford County Nissan franchise and King George Ford dealership to Carl Leckner in 2015. Leckner was formerly general manager of Koons Ford Falls Church, and a manager of Sheehy Nissan of Manassas.
The sale of the Rosner Toyota dealerships to Sheehy Auto Stores is expected to be complete in October 2016.
