There’s never a dull moment with the Silver Club. The Club is for active adults 55 years or better. We offer a dynamic guest speaker program which includes all sectors of life from health care, recreation, authors, artists, non-profits, senior organizations, historians, musicians, government, military and everything else in between.

Weekly on Wednesdays 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Come join our Chess Club. All ages and skill levels welcome, even those who have never played. Come learn a new skill.

Friday August Summer Sunsets at Old House
Every Friday in August, 5 – 26 6 – 9 p.m.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in with a glass of wine and a picnic as we listen to live music and watch the sunset over the Blue Ridge Mountains. Wine tastings available from noon until 8:45. Wood oven pizzas available while supplies last from 5:30pm-7:30pm.

The Culpeper Downtown Farmers Market offers nearly 30 participants for this season’s market. Be certain to stop by the market to pick up locally grown produce while supporting regional farmers. The Culpeper Downtown Farmers Market has become a Saturday morning destination in the downtown district. Stroll through the market for locally grown fruit, vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, and vibrant flowers. Join us every Saturday morning for Puppet Storytime. Its Free, Its fun, and when your child attends 10 they earn a free book!

EDH League

Groups will be divided into pods of 4. Each league will take place over the course of a month. The prizes will be paid out at the end of the month. Each session will consist of two games.

Handicap Doubles Tournament

Our next tournament in the Friday night tournament series! Handicap doubles – any team combination is acceptable. Handicap will be based on 90% of 230. If you don’t have an average at Mountain Run Bowling Center you will need to provide your average. You must have 30 games in for your average and the 10 pin drop rule will be in effect.
$25.00 per bowler, if you walk-in or call in the day of the tournament it will be $30.00 per bowler

Sheriff Scott H. Jenkins 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Sign-in begins at 7 a.m. with biscuits, coffee, and juice. The shotgun start is scheduled at 8 a.m. There will be closest to the pin, longest drive, straightest drive and hole-in-one competitions on the course, along with raffle items after the tournament. Proceeds benefit the Culpeper Sheriff’s Charitable fund.
$85 entry fee, team packages begin at $200

Silver Screen Matinee: Bridge of Spies
