Germanna to Host “The Eyes of History” Photojournalism Exhibit

A showcase of award winning Washington-based photojournalism will be on display September 9 – 11, 2016, at at Germanna Community College’s Daniel Technology Center in Culpeper.

“The Eyes of History” will spotlight the winners of this year’s contests in categories including Presidential, Insiders Washington, Politics, On Capitol Hill, Sports Action, Sports Feature, Domestic News, and International News. The winners were judged in early 2016 from photos shot in 2015 by members of the White House News Photographers Association, an organization representing hundreds of photojournalists worldwide.

The exhibit will open with be a public reception from 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9.

The exhibit, co-sponsored by the Arts & Culture Center in Culpeper and Germanna Presents! Lyceum, is free, although donations are welcomed.
