The Fredericksburg Sister City Association (FSCA) is hosting a Bastille Day Celebration from 6 – 10 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016. The event will be held in historic Market Square, behind the Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center at 1001 Princess Anne St. in downtown Fredericksburg.
“The evening is a gift of FSCA to the people of Fredericksburg — an appropriate gesture to celebrate the beginning of democratic rule by America’s oldest ally, France,” said Kathryn Willis, FSCA board member.
Whiskey Django Foxtrot will provide live music. Farm to table dishes by Bennie of Normandy Cuisine will be available for purchase. French wines will be available for $5 a glass.
The event is free and open to the public.
FSCA is a non-profit, member-based sister city organization that has been partnered with Fréjus, France since 1980. New members are welcome.
