Parade of Homes 2016 Adds Tiny Homes and Design Centers

The Fredericksburg Area Builders Association (FABA) will present their annual Parade of Homes two weekends in October 2016.

Model homes, show rooms and design centers will be open for touring 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. October 1, 2, 8 and 9.

“The Parade of Homes features our area’s finest builders showcasing designs, special features, floor plans, and craftsmanship,” said Parade of Homes Co-Chair Scott Hine, area manager and mortgage loan originator with Integrity Home Mortgage Corporation.

This year in addition to custom and spec single-family homes and townhomes, the tour will include tiny homes and design centers.

The event will kick-off with the Parade of Homes Celebration, announcing the top model home. The event will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at Stevenson Ridge, 6901 Meeting St., Spotsylvania Courthouse, Va. 22553. Cost is $35 per person, or $60 per couple, and includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast. RSVP online or by calling 540-898-2730.

Participating parade builders include American Heritage Homes, Atlantic Builders, Augustine Homes, Bryton Homes, Hurst Homes, J. Hall Homes, Lennar, Mendleson Development, National Home Builders, Ryan Homes, Spartan Homes, Spear Builders, Teakwood Enterprises, Tiny House Building Company, Tricord Homes, Westbrooke Homes, Simply Home, Thompson Building Corp., and Foundation Homes.
