Irish Eyes Celebrates 30 Years of Business in Downtown Fredericksburg

Mike and Bernadette Esler, owners of Irish Eyes at 725 Caroline St. in downtown Fredericksburg, are celebrating 30 years in business on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016.

The Esler’s travel back home to Ireland each year to select unique treasures for their shop from Ireland’s leading artists and craftspeople.

Bernadette hails from the little town of Gort, County Galway, and Mike spent his early life in Longford.

Irish Eyes includes The Heraldic Research Center, rated one of the best in the world. “With computer technology and hundreds of out of print reference books, we can give you well researched information on your Celtic ancestral legacy,” Mike said.

Store hours are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 12 – 6 p.m. Sunday.
