U.S. Marine Corps veterans Andy and Neidra Sampson love serving others. From serving the nation to serving the Fredericksburg community as Chapter Captains of Team Red, White & Blue Fredericksburg, one of the largest veteran organizations in the area, they have undoubtedly become pillars in our community.

You often catch them out and about downtown Fredericksburg, with Team RWB, running the canal path, taking classes at downtown gyms, and volunteering in the community.

Neidra moved to the area in 2004, and lived apart from Andy for five years, until he was finally able to join her in 2012. They will be celebrating four years of marriage in March 2017, but they’ve been together for a decade.

As you can see, despite everything they’ve been through together and apart, the pair are not afraid to have a little fun. They joined their fellow Team RWB members to support a great cause by jumping in the very chilly Rappahannock River for the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Warrior Foundation 10th annual Polar Bear Plunge on February 4. Theirs is another #lovefxbg story.
