Friends of the Rappahannock Presents Sixth Annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival

Ski, climb, paddle, and bike your way to adventure at the Friends of the Rappahannock (FOR) Sixth Annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival.

The festival showcases environmental action and adventure in beautiful but threatened places around the world. “The festival’s 12 short films will inspire you to enjoy and protect the wild, and the local places we love,” said Nick Cadwallender, FOR Development Coordinator and Environmental Educator.

The sixth annual film festival will be held at two locations on two dates.

Saturday, March 18, 1 to 5 p.m. at the Daniel Technology Center at Germanna Community College, 18121 Technology Dr., Culpeper, Virginia 22701

Saturday, March 25, 1 to 5 p.m. at the University of Mary Washington, Dodd Auditorium, 1301 College Ave., Fredericksburg, Virginia, 22401

Festival tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. School students are free of charge, college students are free with an ID. Tickets may be purchased online at www.riverfriends.org

Friends of the Rappahannock is the Fredericksburg-based nonprofit working “to be the voice and active force for a healthy and scenic Rappahannock River.”
