From Spotsylvania County Government

Update: April 25

Spotsylvania says all water is cleared for use.

Update 8:38 PM
The Spotsylvania Utilities Department has flushed and tested all affected areas following the repair of the water main break on Friday, April 21, 2017. All bacteriological sampling has shown that water within the affected area is safe for consumption in accordance with Virginia Department of Health regulations. The precautionary boil water notice is hereby lifted in all areas with the exception of Commonwealth Drive and Onyx Court. Due to the location of repairs, restoration of water service was delayed to that area. The precautionary boil water notice and sampling will continue for Commonwealth Drive and Onyx Court until sampling requirements are met.

Update 12:30 p.m.
The county released an updated map (Map 2), and said flushing is expected to take 12 hours to fully clear the system.
