Fredericksburg Police seek assistance in identifying suspects

Attempt to Identify Suspect in Grand Larceny:

The incident was initially reported in the September 7th Crime Report. Video surveillance of the incident was just acquired. 7-11 Convenience Store, 1613 Dixon Street, 9/7, 12:48 a.m. An employee reported that an unknown male entered the store, walked behind the counter, and stole the cash register drawer containing an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then exited the store and left on foot in in the direction of Airport Avenue. Patrol officers responded and a K-9 handler conducted a track. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 18 to 30 years old, 5’7” to 5’10” and was wearing a black zip-up sweatshirt, black athletic pants, black shoes, and a white bandana covering the lower half of his face. The investigation is ongoing.

 

Attempt to Identify Suspects in Fraud/ Credit Card Theft:

Target, 1180 Carl D. Silver Parkway, 9/25, 3:00 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown Hispanic male and female (photos below) attempted to use a stolen credit card to purchase two iPad Pros. The suspects left the store in a silver Ford Explorer (photo below) with New York license plates. The credit card was stolen from the victim’s purse at the Panera Bread at 24 South Gateway in Stafford County. The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office believes the suspects are going to Panera Breads and stealing from purses when their owners aren’t looking. The investigation is ongoing.
