Vandalism:
200 block Fauquier Street, 7/26, 11:40 p.m. A City resident reported witnessing two males operate an excavator and damage a tree. The men then fled on foot in an unknown direction. The investigation is ongoing.
Larceny – Theft from Motor Vehicle:
600 block Caroline Street, 7/26, 9:30 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person stole a portable speaker from his unlocked vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
1400 block Jefferson Davis Highway, 7/24, 4:30 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person stole the tags from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Payne, Mark Edward, 46, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of failure to comply with court order.
Lea, Karsten Jermaine, 22, of Stafford County was arrested on a charge of failure to comply with court order.
Brown, James Henry, 67, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of contempt of court.
Gonzalez, Maria, 25, of Stafford County was arrested on a charge of contempt of court.
Johnson, Theodore Alexander, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of strangulation: results in wounding/bodily injury.
