Two Miami men were arrested over the weekend in Spotsylvania while trying to cash a fraudulent business check with a fake New Jersey driver’s license. The manager at PNC Bank on Route 1 recognized the men from an alert that had come from other branches where the where a similar scheme had been attempted.
Spotsylvania deputies were able to arrive and block the vehicle in the drive-thru. Inside the rental vehicle they were driving, investigators found numerous fake ID’s. fraudulent/stolen checks from eight different states and stolen credit cards. Investigators also found a stolen rental car key out of Chicago. This stolen vehicle was subsequently located at Richmond Airport.
Arrested: 20 year old Noelio Quintero and 20 year old Ayleen Gonzalez.
