Update: Rappahannock River traffic will be allowed to pass underneath the Chatham Bridge on Thursday. Next week river traffic will be prohibited from passing underneath the Chatham Bridge on Wednesday and Thursday–the 26th and 27th from 6am-6pm.
Upstream at the I-95 bridges, the river remains open to boaters until further notice. A scheduled portage at the I-95 bridges for the I-95 Southbound Rapphannock River Crossing has been postponed due to elevated water levels. (Photos courtesy VDOT)
