A Stafford man faces a disorderly conduct charge after unleashing a profanity laden tirade threatening elementary aged juveniles on a school bus Friday afternoon. This weekend, the Stafford Sheriff’s Office investigated an incident which occurred on a school bus Friday afternoon. Deputies learned 34-year old Cortez Smith boarded an elementary school bus to confront children he believed were bullying. The incident occurred at a bus stop in Shadow Woods subdivision and there were approximately 23 students on board.

Smith proceeded to curse and shout threats toward the students and the student’s family for nearly a minute before storming off the bus. Smith was served with a warrant for disorderly conduct and has been kept away from the schools.  Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
