From Atlantic Builders
Atlantic Builders, its employees, and Guaranteed Rate (lending partner) hosted its sixth annual Holiday Hope campaign and have donated a total of $18,000 to community organizations located in Spotsylvania, Stafford, and Waynesboro.
For the sixth year in a row, Atlantic’s team of employees have raised funds for those in need in their local community through the employee-led Holiday Hope campaign. They have now given approximately $85,000 to local community organizations. Countless families have been provided for during the Holidays—including over 130 children in Spotsylvania alone—through this annual charitable giving campaign that lasts from November into mid-December.
Holiday Hope has been spearheaded by Glen Raymond, land and project estimator, who has been on the Atlantic Builders’ team for over ten years. “We have a very generous team with Atlantic Builders. They get very excited to contribute money and do the Christmas shopping for the kids,” Raymond said. “This would not be possible without the generosity of the entire Atlantic Builders team and it makes me proud to be a part of Atlantic Builders.”
Local organizations benefiting from the 2022 Holiday Hope campaign include:
– Spotsylvania Social Services, Christmas presents for children
– Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Operation Blue Christmas, presents and meals for families
– Stafford Junction, Christmas presents and meals for families and seniors
– Stafford Social Services, Christmas presents and meals for families and seniors
– Stafford Sheriff’s Christmas for Kids and Seniors
– Waynesboro Social Services, Christmas presents and meals for families and seniors
A Core Value at Atlantic Builders is to “Give Back” and this is demonstrated throughout the year by Atlantic’s leadership and employees. Atlantic’s team is encouraged to give time and treasure to local organizations and most of Atlantic’s team members sit on various boards and volunteer on a regular basis. Atlantic Builders also donates all proceeds from its annual Give Back Home to organizations like Germanna Community College, Loisann’s Hope House, Rappahannock United Way, YMCA, and other community-minded organizations.
