From the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank:
We have an active week of drive-through food distributions ahead of us and we want to make sure those in need of free, supplemental grocery assistance know the options available to them. Please help us spread the word!
We will begin with a drive-through opportunity at Hillcrest United Methodist Church, Fredericksburg Va (2208 Lafayette Boulevard, Fredericksburg) on Monday, April 3 from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Then, on Wednesday, April 5 we will be partnering with the Fredericksburg Nationals for a distribution at Virginia Credit Union Stadium(42 Jackie Robinson Way, Fredericksburg) from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
On Thursday, April 6, we will have a fresh market distribution featuring fresh produce at the University of Mary Washington (1301 College Avenue, Fredericksburg) from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., followed by a second distribution at St. Jude Church Fredericksburg,VA (9600 Caritas Street, Fredericksburg) from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.
We will close out the week with two fresh market distributions on Friday, April 7. One will be at Hurkamp Park (Prince Edward Street, Fredericksburg) in partnership with Impact Church of Fredericksburg from 10:00 a.m. – noon. A second fresh market will be at Patawomeck Museum & Cultural Center (638 Kings Highway, Fredericksburg) from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.
