On Monday, April 10, VDOT will close daytime access to Route 601 (Lawyers Road) at Route 208 (Courthouse Road) in Spotsylvania for a three-day pipe replacement project. The project is expected to be complete by Thursday, April 13, weather permitting.
Travelers seeking to travel to and from Lawyers Road from Courthouse Road should follow a posted detour along Fenton Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Route 208 (Courthouse Road) will remain open in both directions at the Lawyers Road intersection during this work zone.
Crews will be replacing a drainage pipe underneath Lawyers Road.
