The Stafford Sheriff’s Office this week celebrated Sgt. Carol Burgess on her retirement. After over 20 years working within the office, Sergeant Burgess officially retired on Thursday. Here’s what the Facebook posting from the Sheriff’s Office said:
Many of you know how hard she worked in the community, how dedicated she was to our schools, and what a positive role model she was to all of our deputies. While this is a bittersweet moment, we truly and deeply love everything Sergeant Burgess has done for the Sheriff’s Office, and we wish her all the best in what is to come next. Thank you once again Sergeant Burgess, and congratulations on your retirement.
