Over 1000 Fentanyl pills seized by Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office

The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office says on  September 7th at 5:30pm, members of the Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit observed an Acura sedan on the interstate driving at a high rate of speed with no front tag. Major Troy Skebo says a traffic stop was attempted, but occupants of the vehicle decided to play a game of musical chairs while the vehicle was still moving. The detectives observed the female front passenger jump into the driver seat while the original driver jumped into the back seat before the vehicle abruptly stopped in the right travel lane of the interstate around the 124 mile marker.
Major Skebo says during the stop, over 1000+ FENTANYL pills and two loaded semi-auto handguns were located and seized. D’Shon A. Mims, 19-year-old male driver from Woodbridge was arrested for possession with the intent to distribute a schedule I/II narcotic, possess a firearm while in possession of a scheule I/II narcotic, concealed weapon, obstruction of justice, and no operator license. The front seat passenger, Jada Sales-Perez, 19-year-old female from Woodbridge was arrested possession of a schedule I/II narcotic. The back seat passenger, Francisco D. Chavarria, 19-year-old male from Woodbridge was arrested for possession of a schedule I/II narcotic and was wanted by Prince William County on multiple warrants.
The trio was incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
