The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Unit partnered with Virginia State Police to conclude an ongoing narcotics investigation.
38-year-old Robert Lane from DC was arrested in the Thornburg area by detectives with one kilo of suspected methylenedioxy-methamphetamine, commonly known as ecstasy or MDMA. Lane was charged with transporting more than 1oz of schedule I/II narcotics in the commonwealth, possession with the intent to distribute schedule I/II narcotics, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor since his ten-year-old child was with him at the time of arrest.
Major Troy Skebo says he was incarcerated in the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
