St. Peter’s Episcopal in Oak Grove to hold service of prayer and hope Thursday at 5:30pm

by | Dec 20, 2023 | Faith & Religion

From St. Peter’s Episcopal Church:

On the longest, darkest night of the year, during a season when so many of us experience hardship, loss, and grief, we welcome you to join us here on St. Peter’s Green, Oak Grove, Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. for a service of prayer and hope.
We will gather in the Garage for our service. Please bundle up warm, bring a folding chair if you need to sit, bring your flashlight and a candle if you have one.
We will light candles; pray for and with all who are hurting, grieving, or in need of healing; listen to scripture; and just be together, quietly, in reflection, surrounded by contemplative music.
We will gather amid our sadness and loss for one reason, to remember that God is good. God is near. And God invites us this Advent, and always, into hope and healing.
Blessings and Peace,
