Fredericksburg City Police say Monday at approximately 3:50 p.m., the Fredericksburg Police E-911 Center received a report of an armed robbery at the Tobacco Hut and Vape at 1909 Dixon Street. Patrol officers responded, set up a perimeter, and began their investigation while a detective was requested to respond.
Store employees reported a black male and a white/Hispanic male entered the store with their faces and hair covered. The white/Hispanic male fired a single shot and demanded money. No one was injured by the gunshot. The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise. They drove away in a dark grey/silver SUV.
