Bank robbery in North Stafford

The Stafford Sheriff’s Office says a robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash after a bank heist in North Stafford.  Sheriff’s Office spokesman Ryan Wilbur says the incident happened about 11am at Carter Bank and Trust on Worth Avenue.  Wilbur says a  man walked up to the counter and demanded money while implying that he had a weapon. Police say no weapon was displayed,.  Wilbur tells us a massive search ensued that included multiple deputies, a drone and a police dog.   No suspect has been found.  Schools around the bank were put on a partial lockdown.

The robber was described as a Black male wearing a medical mask, a black baseball cap, blue jeans, a dark blue shirt and a gray North Face jacket.
