Fredericksburg Police identify and charge suspects in last week’s armed robbery

City Police have charged two juveniles for last week’s armed robbery at the Tobacco Hut and Vape Shop on Dixon Street.
Spokeswoman Sarah Morris says a 16-year-old old Stafford teen was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, underage possession of a firearm, and discharging a firearm in an occupied dwelling.
Morris says a 17-year-old from Stafford was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, underage possession of a firearm, and discharging a firearm in an occupied dwelling.
Both suspects remain incarcerated at the Rappahannock Juvenile Detention Center.
:Last Monday about 4pm, the Fredericksburg Police E-911 Center received a report of an armed robbery at the Tobacco Hut and Vape at 1909 Dixon Street.  Store employees reported a black male and a white/Hispanic male entered the store with their faces and hair covered. The white/Hispanic male fired a single shot and demanded money. No one was injured by the gunshot. The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise.
