Fredericksburg City crime report March 25

The following crimes were reported to the Fredericksburg Police Department from March 18-25.

  • Vandalism: Sophia Street Parking Garage, 600 Sophia Street, 3/23, An employee reported two unknown white males deployed the fire extinguisher for no reason and then ran towards Caroline Street. Jay’s Sports Bar, 409 William Street, 3/24, The manager reported a front window was shattered.
  • Larceny – Theft from Building: Wegmans, 2281 Carl D. Silver Parkway, 3/19, A person reported her wallet was stolen from her purse while shopping. Hyatt Place, 1241 Emancipation Highway, 3/21, A person reported his room was ransacked and multiple items were stolen.
  • Larceny – Theft from Motor Vehicle: 600 block Jackson Street, 3/18, A person reported a gift card was stolen from her unlocked vehicle. Gold’s Gym parking lot, 2380 Plank Road, 3/18, A person reported a credit card was stolen from his unlocked vehicle. Lowe’s parking lot, 1361 Carl D. Silver Parkway, 3/20, A person reported cash and credit cards were stolen from her unlocked vehicle. Old Mill Park, 2200 Caroline Street, 3/21, A person reported her vehicle was unsecured and her purse was stolen. Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot, 3/22, A person reported alcohol was stolen from his vehicle.
  • Larceny: 1600 block Charles Street, 3/22, A person reported his John Deere lawn mower was stolen. Cowboy Jack’s, 2312 Plank Road, 3/22, The manager reported a tub of kitchen grease was stolen from behind the restaurant.
